Hickey College’s Medical Administrative Assistant graduates have a thorough understanding of how a medical office operates. Concentration is given to understanding insurance practices, handling office correspondence and patient interaction.

Training in medical terminology, insurance practices, specialized medical office procedures.

Vet techs are trained to work under the supervision of a veterinarian and can perform a variety of important procedures, like taking x-rays, running lab tests, administering vaccines, performing dental work, assisting in surgery and counseling owners on follow-up care. At the Vet Tech Institute, students have access to an on-site kennel , surgical suites, industry standard equipment, and on-staff veterinarians.

The Veterinary Technician program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA).

A variety of on-site animals to provide hands-on training. Concentration in animal anatomy and physiology, anesthesia, and a large animal practicum. Externship experience to apply classroom knowledge. The Hickey College Veterinary Technician Program is accredited by the AVMA as a program for educating veterinary technicians.
